Abstract

The research contains a complete description and characteristics of the tasks of the Air Force, but does not apply to the aviation of the Land Forces and the Navy in Poland. One of the main reasons for undertaking the research is the lack of a comprehensive, up-to-date study on the Polish Air Force. The publication provides structured knowledge of the structures, equipment, including equipment related to aviation training in training and combat units for those interested in finding out more about this field of military activity. The compendium also contains a description of other units related to securing the activities of the air force (it does not include aviation of other types of armed forces). It includes an analysis of the command structure of the Air Force and aviation training units. The description of the organizational structures and tasks of individual aviation units that carry out aviation training include the recent changes that have taken place in the Polish aviation training system. It should be emphasized that the command system is on the verge of another reform, and the structures and equipment for 2022 will be changed in the near future.
